Birthday : Meltday

Today's my birthday! Yessssssssss! I'm 27. Well it's kind of sad feeling like you're melting away; a sick way of thinking anyway! Am really happy now. Feeling both cold and warm at the same time. This picture is so much showing what it's like to be born; sitting in a pile of strawberry ice-cream drinking hot coffee! Opposites, they make our lives. Mmmm...am sounding like my mom!!! I guess it's a sign of growing up!

IF : Visitors

Visitors From Mars

It was one sunny day in the playground and Amy had got bored of Sally Bones’ non-stop screams again. She was about to go home when she felt something was poking on her shoes. Looking down, Amy saw the most bizarre thing ever. Three tiny little creatures with peculiar features were looking up at her; at least two of them were while the third fluffy one was drooling all over the place without noticing anything. The green creature which reminded Amy so much of her least favorite vegetable, green peas, started squeaking something. It was not until she got almost level with the green thing that she heard what was even more incredible…

IF : Captain

Here's what I've done for this week's IF. I don't know why but it was the very first thing came up in my mind. I think every picture has a story behind it. Hope you like this very very very very short note on this one:

"Rise And Fall Of Chickpeas

It was the brightest sunset one could witness. All colors seemed so vivid that you’d feel like touching them with your very bare hands. For chickpeas however it wasn’t that bright. Captain Cheeky was shouting orders at top of its voice that one small chickpea simply rolled over and fell into the deep blue sea. As much as they all wanted to hold its hands and bring it up, none dared moving an inch or they would be next joining the unfortunate chickpea… "

Mer-loneliness

Unlike some writers who think that merpeople have gray skin, green hair and yellow eyes, I still have stuck to that same ol' fairy tale. Even now whenever I watch Disney's "Little Mermaid" I wish I was as pretty and fortunate as Ariel! Well I guess there's a lil' mermaid living in every girl.

Last night I was to some wedding party. It was too much fun for one's heart to bear. All of a sudden I felt so alone, so left out, as lonely as a 26 years old mermaid can get...

I did this sketch an hour ago. Hope you like it!

Feeling Sketchy

There's this Yahoo! group which I'm hoping to join; Every Day Matters. It's all about sketching. A weekly challenge with exciting topics. So far, my request hasn't been approved and am checking and re-checking my inbox everyday. Well, it's something to look forward to.

By the way, my summer term is over and I did this sketch based on what I've learned in the Figure Drawing course. There are some exaggerations going on so to show a more pronounced gesture. Hope I did it right!

I Can't Reach : An Answer To My Recent CravingS

I’ve been “Foody” recently; have tried to work on some delicious ideas! Well it’s not like am not thinking about it every other day! Anyways…as you know am developing a new style to work on. So far not many liked it which is fine really, as I said it still needs to be trimmed. I hope someone will notice my hard work and appreciate it someday!!!!

My Summer course will be finished in next few days which means I have to work my a** off! I guess it’s the price you should pay to become someone!
