When Things Are About To Change: Happy Nowrouz!

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Here we are again; just the beginning of a new year! Every Spring, we (I mean Iranian folks) celebrate a unique happy event which is the start of this green season and the new year. It's always fun to sit back and count the many steps you've gone so far and the many steps you're planning to go by the end of the upcoming year. For me, it's going to be a whole new adventure; to learn from my mistakes (like the picture above which is tilted uncomfortably for no reason!) and not to repeat them ever. After all, you are supposed not to do them again or the whole "learning" thing is pointless.
The picture I've uploaded, has a"fishy" theme to it as Gold Fish are must-haves when it comes to Nowrouz ceremony. The boy in the image however isn't celebrating anything. It's a sad story behind keeping a "live" creature in our overly small flats. Fish need to be free and have open paths ahead of them; even if it's a stinky sewer!

Cheers :-)
