It's my very first animal illustration; I've never been brave enough to try and draw animals. A very special friend of mine who's allergic to cats (!) asked me to draw him one. So here it goes. Hope he'll like it...

‘N you’ll see it’s as warm as sun-burnt sand!

It's me "versifying"!! First I wanted to write a short story about it but as I started, this rhythmic flow of words came into my mind! Hope you like it!

As Johnny As Possible!

O.K. I know, I know! It's not that much Johnny Depp as it's supposed to be, but I did it anyways! Actually I've done this one for a lovely friend of mine, Sorour, who's a huge fan of JD. Hope she likes it!
It took me more than it should (10 mins sketching, 5 hours digital painting) . I was doing another portrait today as well; Lord Voldemort! Well... it's not done yet but am getting there.

Practice, Practice and Practice Some More!

So it is said that in order to make your dreams come true, you should work hard. Though it's a bit over-heard and me for one thing hate hearing things over and over again; it still won't hurt to remind yourself what you really want to do in your life. I've long decided to learn digital painting; am doing my best and for once in my life I don't feel like giving up just yet! Well it's quiet an achievement if you know me; my life is littered with unfinished projects.

In the meantime, am working on a piece for "Drawing Day" which is on 7th of June. I can hardly wait!

1...2...3...Testing!

Again I've found something new to experiment with! Couple of days back, I drew this in Painter from beginning till this point which can't be called the end. Trying new things is always exciting! I've decided not to say "No" to new experiences and still I believe that "Practice" is the key.

I'll finish this image "digitically" in few days time (am soooooooooooooo busy at the mo).

R.I.P : Goldie (1386 - 1387)

I must sadly announce the sudden loss of a tiny fish with a HUGE heart. Though he was barely an inch tall, he had brought such joy to our lives; Goldie was with us when we celebrated Norouz and recently had found a new friend in his little fish tank...

We are all deeply saddened by the tragic loss of such dear little friend.

May his soul find peace in Heaven...

Coffee House

I've always had a thing for coffee houses; with their warm colors, welcoming environment and above all that, intense smell of freshly brewed coffee mingling in the air! Fabulous! I can sit in such places for hours and simply enjoy being there..............................................................................!
